Code the Change is a national network of students who develop software for nonprofits whose missions benefit the social good. I have worked with Stanford’s Code the Change chapter on a variety of projects, and I helped to lead the chapter as co-president.
The Android and Facebook Free Basics apps we developed help CultureMesh foster cultural communities for migrating populations across the world.
We are helping develop a tool to better visualize human migration patterns so that NGOs and governments can more effectively respond to disasters.
First and foremost, we are a group of students learning and teaching together. We have made public some of the guides we have developed to teach each other, for example, how to use git or how to write unit tests.
